Produced in under a week for the dead letter
chorus album show at notes these were made
for stand alone display in the lobby area.
i had a real blast basically producing outside
my usual comfort zone and producing just for
myself..most times i worry if people like
what i do..in this case..i was very happy and
that was the only person i needed to please..
on the upside ..all loved the new stuff and
life and that night was grand

after the last under tray art was given
the thumbs down from stoop we worked on this
idea of the city at night contrasting with
the brightness of the front cover..in a way im glad
those thumbs were pointed south

mood ring concept

boy oh boy it's been a busy couple of days
around here..but anyways
heres a poster i did for sam feilder
i have done a poster for him before
for the new prophet..i think the deal
is he is going for funding and is looking
for posters to put as part of the package..
anyways the brief was biker girls and trippy-ness
i believe this fits the bill

very early ernest ellis concept

so this is my first gig with dew process
which i am super excited about..they are the
label who gives us sarah blasko, the panics and
whitley ...anyways my concept is for this hunted
warhorse to be bleeding ink spots that have imposed
on the images of foggy locales full of hunters..
i hope it will be one long massive artwork..
the concept is a mixture of me and the lead singer
and dew's marketing team..the album is called the hunted
so they are eagre to have someone hunted..

although back then i had it more 9/11 but
i thought i would settle the fuck down and
make it more like moths to the flame than
my little end of the world visions



i've been wanting to pop this candle hat on something
for a while..maybe next time i will construct a chandelier
hat..

Every once in a while i come up with a
concept i get really really excited about
this frenchmex-ing was one of them..for me
its like the beautiful child of two great
loves..french excess and the mexican day
of the dead...so the story is that the EP
for
boy and bear which has the lighthouses is
shelved until next year to be used on their
yet to be finished EP ..this however is for
their single..mexican mavis...

this archer and ice cream truck is an idea i've
for ages..mainly i daydreamed it when i was thinking
about what kind of dlc video i would make if i
had a budget..and this image is how it would open..



this was one of the first images i thumbnailed
and even though it went through a few different
versions i kept coming back to this image of a
priest with a gun..i wanted a camera man there
too but the town folk would not have that kind
of technology..better to mae it more conquistador
type

chorus epic august magnificent show..it will
be a huge night with strings and choirs..

i like it a little rough

this is a rough concept sketch for an idea
i had for FRENCH MEX ..which is a crossing of
marie antoinette style french excess and mexican
day of the dead...it came about after boy and bear
manager asked if i could do a cover for their ,just
about to be released single Mexican mavis.

so i thought a hybrid of frida and telouis would be fun
anyway this is a rough sketch i drew on the bus of what it
might look like

this idea came from me unable to doodle
something else..which was an arm coming out
of a leg..i was on the way to dims when i
had a rush of ideas ..four or five..i love
these moments..and when taz said this was
a farewell show the bird flying the coop
seemed to fight like a glove

FIRST DRAFT
so with most things..this started simple..me being
a bit too into xrays of animals..suddenly as i kept
going it seemed to make sense to add a victorian age
town and have jellyfish smoke...will sending this
off post haste to serge to see what he thinks..
this will be used for both an EP art work and gig
poster if given the thumbs up

now in wonderful 3d

so in a week which saw me watch all three
back to the futures and coraline in 3d im
pretty into the whole 3d thing..more so
the old school 3d glasses..anyway this idea
started as just a man in a powdered wig with a
ship in his hair and some glasses then evolved
into this larger than life nod to old 3d picture
books..anyways i hope they like it..cause , fuck it,
i do!!

this and it looks nothing like the original idea

was asked by the booking agent at oxford arts
to do a poster for a night called natural selection
well, the two seemed the perfect marriage
also is signage..
