i've been thinking a lot lately about
about breaking things down into very simple
shapes and when you start to train your eye
to do so its amazing how quickly you can see
something in something else completely unrelated
case in point..seeing an owl in a reel to reel
machine...its a fun trick and one i intend to
do more

ps ..its something they taught us first term
of design school but i have only just applied..
sigh

while shopping with dim and jack at
the mall this image of a cyclops like
metronome popped in my head..it was
" its so crystal clear in my mind"
that it was just a matter of constructing
it...if only every job was like that..


this image will be used not only on
stationary and such but flyers and
other promo stuff

one dream coming true...

One thing i wanted when starting out
was posters i had made on telegraph poles
out the front of my house..even though
these are edits of my work for shore thing
i still consider it a dream come true

cultural mash up

fuck i love this poster..i will be heartbroken
if it gets rejected...its a representation of
what i love doing most at the moment which is
mashing up 2 or more cultures or subcultures to
get a weird hybrid..

in this case its a mexican wrestler with a native
american indian...but thats not the only mash up

my fave thing is the venetian with ghetto blasters
i wanna do a poster just with that

replaces by giraffes ..which i love as they
