who are those masked men

picasso had his blue period ..i have my men in
odd masks period...boy and bear is an idea
thats been around for ages.except i made him a
sun god..and the small hours started off as a simple
man has a cassette for eyes idea and then got wildly
out of control

two more boxes ticked

when i started out there was a few things i wanted
to achieve..silly dreams but goals nonetheless...
getting on phone poles in front of my house..check

having posters on the walls under the rail pass was
a big goal as i photoshopped my work on there for
my major display at design school and i wanted that
to happen for real..and yup...check





getting in the MX was another silly dream but
it happenned and thanks to ruth i saw it

got a nod

as part of the collective shoot the
player we were nominated for this
years smac awards ( sydney music ,arts
and culture awards) ..the night was
booze filled and fun even though we
lost out to trendy knitters

i was asked by an old
friend to contribute
work for her upcoming
group show..what i thought
would be something fun on
the side turned into an epic
production of type filled animals
and re-worked urban icons..
the night it self was busy and
hot as hell but fun none the less
