I nailed it

so i have been stressing about this logo...Renee and her team have been so supportive
and have had such faith in me that i was scared idea-less about what to do for them and then this dawned on me on the train home yesterday and within a day its come back with a hearty thumbs up....yay..now my van gough meets smashing pumpkins has to be done and im happy...
also on the kate front its going really well but i sometimes feel that im spending too long in the city ..need to do more cabin stuff

doing your civil duty

so yesterday was a bit of a blow out , i only got a few shots done due to the fact i spent half the day seeing whether i will be picked for jury duty..grrr if i do get picked its gonna make my job twice as hard and i am already suffering a little burn out...sigh..

so its been crazy couple of days ...lots of animation has been taking place...as has the finishing and re-finishing and the re-re-finishing of the guys and dolls programme ...the good news is that sony isnt stressing about how long i have been taking ..phew..i hope the shots i send them really knock there socks off..
on another tangent darren hanlon seems pretty damn keen for me to do his video clip which will involve a super hero detective in a future retro city ..with a klutch cargo type effect on the mouths ( side note it was a massive compliment that daz got me to help him out putting last night together and had a really cool time kicking back with him afterwards )

so im gonna post more animation when i cut some stuff together i think...
anyways.......

although i call it test footage it will end up in the video..

A very busy lazy day

so yesterday i needed a break and went and ate ice cream and chickens feet but as it turns out it led to not one but three job offers , one involving a tony mott shoot..
here's hoping that my flash in the pan-ness lasts ..

here is the dude back from the brink aboard his sinking model ship..he seems happy to be back holding hands with this hottie

so today had been a little frustrating..lotsa computer problems and what not..didnt make much head way on much except the sherlocks daughter poster is finally going to print..this time with the original dude on it...still the attached footage makes me smile and makes me feel like im heading in the right direction with the KMH project..maybe cut together a trailer to send sony..hmmm

ok just a few quick ones... so i got home last night from seeing air to recieve a package from the rocketsmiths...its their demos..i had some ideas for this before
but had this dream before waking this morning where i was looking at the cd already..and i liked it so..i just gotta bring it to life now...

also had an idea for a brief dream seq for the redjayaway clip
where men/houses form evil teeth that try to eat the main character..
ok more later...fingers crossed some animation

then a light from above illuminates a couple holdinghands , facing each other their two heads form a house...as moments pass the seperate to show us that the man wearsone half of the house around his head and the woman wears the other..they are holding hands but their grip loosens as the lightsfade...

the couple at a table eating dinner both the man and the woman havea half a resturaunt around their heads..clearly things are'nt going very well.. fade down

we see the womans half of the house connected with another house thatisn't the main characters as we dramatically pan around we see the maincharacter enter frame . he realises what's going on as the lights go out...

we see the womans hands present back her half of the house and leaves..the manis clearly upset..fade down

the man sits very much alone with the entire house on his headwe cut to inside the house where the man's oversized head looksaround at the kitchen and the tv...sadly this is all he has right now..Fade down

we see the man sitting on the train to work ..all around him are connected head houses..he looks away...Fade down

we see the man with his office cubicle around his head..he tries in vein to be distractedby work but the feeling lingers ...he looks off into space we pull back through a dead and sterileoffice that seems to go on forever ( this is also attached to his head )...out of the dark a man madeentirely of office supplies yells at him to do some work..he surrenders and we fade down...

lifeless the man stares at us ..he has half the house attached but as we pull out to a widershot he connects the other half of the house and stumbles off into the dark..

a busker sits playing the title song ( thats you alex ) we pan around to see the man lookingdishevilled and the half a house is in a mess...he looks across at a girl who's eyes " containthe sadness of the world" ..he awkwardly smiles..she awkwardly smiles back..Fade down

the two seem to have connected and are holding hands and are looking at the stars that dangle fromstrings..Fade down

the man presents half of the house to her...she looks at it a beat then tries it on..it doesnt fit..he looks worried..she hands him hers..and again it doesnt fit...their hands slip and they seem worriedFade down

we see the man dig into his chest and literaly remove his heart...the heart too is a little house withwindows and a door...he removes a tiny version of himself from the heart house and gives it to her..she does the same....they smile at each other but after a few beats an expression come across their facethat reads " now what ' ..
