here's the first image from the leeroy lee melbourne tour poster..is pretty
much how it will be but with some big bold type added..the guys said they
wanted to be travellers in the poster as well as something to do with
luggage ..so when i think melbourne i think rain...although this was a no
brainer to conceptualise..to get the llok of was much harder..this went
through many incarnations

updates

so friday was an insane day ..ps sorry if you are trying to get the video to work..i had to take it down...and in further KMH clip news ..i got asked if i can do a recut and take out the silent movie cards...a prospect that makes me nervous..but anyways..

so i got offered another video clip this time with martin martini..should be great fun and im also doing a poster for leeroy lee..which should be a real cool deal seeing i dig him and i like the idea of doing something with luggage..anyways..bye for now

all nighter

its done...yay yay ya..finished the last shot at 5 45 am and then slept till lunch and mixed the audio in and watched it with baited breath...i was suprised by how well it flowed as the other nights effort was like a blindfolded lumbering dinosaur...will post the vid once uploaded

part one of final day

so last night was a bit of a nightmare as i edited into the wee hours of the morn only to discover that it was running way too long and without silent movie cards made no narrative sense...sigh..so i got three hours sleep ..got up for cassar on sunrise ( which i will post) and jumped head first into the monster kull..so far..circa four pm its looking good..much more textured and smoother than i had hoped for..touch wood it works out

quick update

so ..its wednesday and the video is due friday..today is the end of animation and then an all nighter tomorrow will see the editing done...i'm beyond stressing now...im blissfully telling myself " it will get done" ...also tomorrow going to check out renee play brekkie central on sunrise..apparantly they will splash up my logo for her on the screens..i think thats maybe my first tv exposure..har har

so heres my very very obvious cameo as frightened on looker number one..in fact i am the only one scared by building up rooting themselves in the entire city..ha ha..so true..hmm

what an ego plus my dorky vlog from 2 weeks ago

so just a few things seeing all i am doing at the moment is animating so i can reach the deadline of next friday...

first is that i have decided to give myself an animated cameo in the video clip as a shocked onlooker and the other thing is this dorky vlog i did a few weeks ago , so it had been six days since i found out jack was born and i hadnt gone back to the shot i was working on since i found out..and being a dweeb i decided to video just in case something else happenned..which it didnt..anyways ..back to work

so the direction of this poster started out as an idea of the landing at normandy on d-day bt with toy soldiers..3 days in i realised this idea was too big and may be better applied somewhere else..so i did what i always do when needing an idea.i walked to summer hill..while having a snakc the idea of a bear that thinks he's some kind of transport hit me..i juggled between train and ship for a while but the idea of seeing their little legs swimming won me over in the end..colour wise ..this is a recent fave

with less than 2 weeks left to go im getting a little animtion sore ( almost an entire sequenc done in one day today...yay) anyways im just posting this to remind myself how great vid clip animation can be
