Morgan Evans - Carry On [Official Video]

Hey nice people . So here's a music video i did very recently for Morgan Evans . its a tale of a writer over coming writers block and coming to terms with the memories of his past , cause that's what the kids want these days ...right ? stories of haunted writers with hints of agoraphobia ...yes?!
Had a lot of fun making this with some fine people. Its the first of a bunch of clips i have done recently coming out over the next week or so ..so stay tuned

ME the band - Vampire!! Vampire!!

So my latest clip is up for Vampire Vampire , ME have just come off a great run at the big day out so this has come out just at the right time . Its a pretty savage and pretty unsubtle attack on Simon cowell and his reality show reign over the music industry .
I Loved making every element of this clip , i loved experimenting with light and shadow with the bands footage , I loved working with Mark Lee ( Gallipoli) as our Gordon gecko/Simon cowell villian , i loved the weird relationship between the Main character and his PA which the actors brought to it and was never written. It was a violent and bloody trek into new territory and I'm really happy with the result.

Enjoy , but be warned its not for the weak stomachs of this world

Dead Man dancing

For any readers of this blog , you will know i have worked on Poster and Ep work with Sydney band Tin Sparrow in the past . Its been a great relationship over the years and i felt very proud to be doing their first official video clip for their killer track "The Beast ". It started out as something very different indeed , it started out as an idea i had in new york a few years ago about a man growing a mouth on the back of his head that sang and abused people as he attempted to make his way home from work . But as this progressed my ability to deliver this concept to its full potential failed ( mainly due to FX work). So we marched on and evolved the story of a man , recently turned into a zombie who , despite his knowledge , is slowly descending into one of the walking undead . it also gave a great opportunity to take another dig at office work and 9-5's in general ( a bane of my 20's ). It was also a lot of fun to explore that thin line between dancing and convulsing and as it turned out it was often confused by passers by as the latter . so after a few re-shoots , involving some very fun zombie cameo work , we got the video out that we were all very proud off. Which goes to prove once again that art is pretty much a constant work in progress .
