hey y'all..heres the front cover to dead letter
chorus' upcoming album yearlings. Its a fairly
different style for me and i was sort of taking my
cues from radioheads long term visual main man ,
Stanley Donwood. it dub it kid A with horsies.
The entire album art was built from my laptop while
on the road in the states recently..its an odd experience
doing it like that..fighting car sickness while being creative
is not a very sexy marriage..
how did you go about creating this graphic? The layers seem to work so well together. very cool indeed. All of you work is awesome but this caught my eye the most. Your videos are awesome too. You are quite the visual story teller.
ReplyDeletethank you so much for that...with the dead letter image it was about ten different images..a lot of which i was collecting while road tripping through the states...it was mostly happy accident..just really playing with the layer blendings in photoshop..i think this one really stands out cause usually i have a very straight forward way of putting together an image..almost like it was a narrative and on this one i kinda just thought..lets go a bit more abstract..thanks again for your nice words
